Uniform Guidelines
K-1 Girls
Jumpers: Navy blue jumper with LOGO or HYCA plaid* jumper. (From Flynn O'Hara no others allowed)
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, blue or white.
Leggings/Socks: White or navy blue, not patterned and no leg warmers.
Hair ribbons: White or black.
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
K-1 Boys
Pants: Navy blue pants and shorts
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, blue or white with LOGO.
Socks: Black, blue or white (NO PATTERNS).
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
2nd - 8th Girls
Skirts: HYCA plaid* or Navy Skirt (From Flynn O'Hara no others allowed)
Skirts must be to the knee...if student kneels on the floor, the skirt should touch the floor. Use sizes ending in "X" for longer sized skirts. For example, size 08 will be shorter than size 08X.
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, blue or white with LOGO.
Hair ribbons: White or black.
Socks: White, Black or navy blue not patterned and no leg warmers.
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
2nd-8th Boys
Pants: Navy Blue pants and shorts
(Flynn O'Hara pants will be marked with a cross logo, no other pants allowed).
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, blue or white with LOGO.
Socks: Black, blue or white (NO PATTERNS).
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
9th- 12th Girls (From Flynn O'Hara no others allowed)
Skirts: Khaki Pleated Skirt with Elastic Waist or Khaki, White, & Navy Plaid.
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, Dark Navy with LOGO.
Hair ribbons: White or black.
Socks: White, Black or navy blue not patterned and no leg warmers.
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
9th-12th Boys (From Flynn O'Hara no others allowed)
Pants: Khaki Twill Pants and shorts.
Shirts: Unisex, long or short sleeve, polo shirts, Dark Navy with LOGO
Socks: Black, blue or white (NO PATTERNS).
Shoes: Black or white tennis shoes or black dress shoes.
Outerwear
Any outerwear may be worn to school, but in order to be worn inside the building, outerwear must be navy blue with school Logo or purchased from Flynn O'Hara Uniforms.
Hair
Boys' hair should not touch the shirt collar in the back and should not be below the ears. Girls' hair ties may be black, white, navy blue or HYCA plaid*. Claw Clips are NOT allowed. Please make sure girls' hair is neat and away from their face.
We encourage hairstyles to be neat and tidy with no exaggerated hair styles. Streaked, dyed, gelled, patterned, lined, stepped, spiked or colored hair is not allowed.
Shoes
If your child can't successfully tie their OWN shoes by themselves, they need to wear Velcro or slip on shoes.
GYM
Summer - Navy Micromesh Gym Shorts + Ash Short Sleeve Shirt with HYCA logo.
Winter - Navy Heavyweight Sweatpants + Light Steel Long Sleeve Shirt with HYCA logo.
Jewelry
We kindly request that jewelry be modest and no temporary tattoos.
Make-up, nail varnish, false nails are NOT allowed.
All primary articles of clothing worn must have originally been purchased through our uniform supplier, Flynn O'Hara Uniforms. Uniforms can be purchased from the Flynn O'Hara website or from their local store.
Students who attend school in clothing other than purchased at Flynn O'Hara will be given a uniform violation. On the third violation the student will be provided with an Flynn O'Hara uniform and the parent will be charged.
All Flynn O'Hara's clothing is marked for HYCA and may not be substituted with clothing from other stores.
